On this page we explain how to reject and retrieve rejected incoming transactions.
Introduction
The Scan & Capture Suite App provides a default list "Incoming purchase transactions to be processed" that will show the user all the incoming transactions. This search will combine all transactions from the all possible sources: PDF, E-invoice and manually uploaded.
Rejecting a transaction
On each line the user has the option to reject a transaction by clicking on Reject button. After triggering this button, the transaction is not displayed anymore in the Incoming transactions’s list. In fact, the Reject button just makes the record inactive, so the record is not deleted and can be audited&retrieved at any time.
Netsuite allows Administrators (and users with necessary permissions) to delete these records. If a Vendor bill created through Scan & Capture is deleted, the standard behaviour is that it will reappear in the Incoming transactions list. Correct way to disable this record is to Reject it.
Show rejected transactions
The default list provides the toggle “Show Inactived Records” stored on the top of the screen. By default this option will be turned off.
To switch to the list of rejected transaction, click on the toggle and wait until the list of inactivated records is loaded.
Retrieve rejected transaction
To re-activate a rejected transaction the user can simply click on the button labeled “Activate”. After clicking, the transaction will be activated again and will be stored in the list of active unprocesed transactions from where it can be processed if needed.
