Settings Hierarchy

Some fields exist across multiple records with a built-in hierarchy in which settings at the most local level override the same settings chosen at the global level.

The following records share some of the same fields:

• Preferences (global)
• Payment Profile (overrides global settings)
• Account Mapping Profile (most local record and will override Preferences and Payment Profile settings)

For example, if a field is set on the Payment Profile, it will supersede whatever is set for that field at the Preferences level.

Similarly, if a field is set on the Account Mapping Profile, it will supersede whatever is set on for that field on the Payment Profile or Preferences level. When a field on a lower level is left blank, ZonePayments will progress up the settings hierarchy and use the setting at the next highest level.

List of fields shared across multiple records

The table below indicates whether the field is present on the ZP Preference, Payment Profile and Account Mapping Profile record. If values are set across multiple records with the same field, the most local setting will take priority.
